The Trumbull Art Gallery is a non-profit corporation created in 1957 by a group of dedicated art patrons and practitioners interested in the promotion of the visual arts and artists in our community.
Education Program
Join the artist collaborative Redhand and participate in an outdoor art performance event honoring deceased family and friends who have passed away during the past 3 years within the Mahoning Valley.
The event is called Witness V, Clothesline Mahoning, to be held on Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd from 4 - 6 pm Clothesline Mahoning will be held at the green space between City Hall and the Kinsman House, just west of the Women’s Park.
Redhand is a local installation and performance art group consisting of core member artist / art educators, William Barron, Ed Hallahan, and Dennis Ryan.

Clothesline is an artistically presented memorial and public gathering honoring deceased members of the Mahoning Valley who have passed away within the last three years.
Photo portrait images will be transferred onto fabric material and will be sculpturally presented to the community on May 21, and 22, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm.
Clothesline Mahoning will be held at the green space between City Hall and the Kinsman House
Speaking and writing will be encouraged the day of the event. A writing component will be available for those who wish to say something in writing.
Media: Art elements include photo screened portraits, 80-100 ft of handmade rope and 11 wooden poles constructed into ten sections each containing four banner portraits of deceased community members, wooden tables, placemats, and bowls. The installation of Clothesline requires the digging of 11 small holes for the wooden poles
